About Me

James Mansell

I graduated from Durham University with a BA in Philosophy and Theology.

I have worked on a number of projects in the business world ranging from the areas of: training, audit (both financial and non-financial) and systems development.

I take a keen interest in how organisations work, particularly understanding the effects of the complex relationships that exist either between stakeholders.

In the course of my work I have worked for large international companies such as Siemens as well as for a large number of smaller firms. Each of these projects has presented me with different challenges, however, each of them involved applying a blend of technological and human solutions to solve business problems.

I now work for a "big four" accounting firm where I am training to be a Chartered Accountant. Here I am learning more skills and also increasing recognising how the different technological and human aspects come together very varied business environments.

In addition to my commercial pursuits, I still maintain a keen interest in my degree subject (particularly the relationship between Religion and Science), as well as Politics and Current Affairs. My WeBlog hopefully reflects those varied interests.
